One English SOP, every language your floor actually works in

For operations and quality teams who write procedures in English and depend on people who work in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil or Telugu. MobiLearn turns the approved document into short video lessons per language, keeps the versions tied to the revision they came from, and plays offline on the phones people already carry.

What runs end to end today

This is the part of MobiLearn with the most delivery behind it. The path from an approved English SOP to regional-language microlearning video runs end to end in the product.

Source
One approved English SOP, uploaded in the format your quality team already keeps it in.
Output
Micro-video lessons, flashcards and questions per language, with regional voiceover and subtitles.
Control
Your agreed terminology is applied, and a subject-matter reviewer for each language approves before anything publishes.
Delivery
Video cards sized for modest Android phones, downloadable on wifi and playable with no connectivity.
What we hold back
No completion or retention figures are published for this yet. When a customer result is verified, it goes on the success stories page with the method stated.

Why the language versions never get made

The problem is rarely that nobody wants the SOP in Marathi. It is what producing and then maintaining that version costs every time the document changes.

Every language is its own production project

Script, translate, record, edit, review. Do that five times and a single procedure update turns into five re-shoots nobody has budget for.

The SOP is revised and the training is not

The document moves to the next revision. The video made from it stays on the old one, and the floor keeps learning the method you replaced.

Translation is not terminology

A general translator does not know what your plant calls a part or a fault. The wrong word inside a safety step is worse than leaving it in English.

The people who need it are not at a desk

Plant floors, routes, branches and sites, on personal phones, often with no signal and not much storage to spare.

What good SOP training looks like

The document stays the single source. Everything the floor sees is generated from it and traceable back to it.

  • One approved English source, with language versions generated from it rather than rebuilt
  • Regional voiceover and subtitles, with your own terminology applied
  • A subject-matter expert signing off each language before it reaches the floor
  • Short video lessons watchable between tasks rather than in a classroom
  • Offline download, so a site with no signal is not a reason to skip the training
  • A version history tying every lesson back to the SOP revision it came from

From approved document to trained shift

Six steps, and your quality team keeps the approval gate at every one that matters.

  1. Upload the approved SOP. The current signed-off English document, as it stands. No rewriting for the platform.
  2. Draft the lessons and the questions. MobiLearn breaks the procedure into micro-lessons and writes topical and scenario questions. Your reviewer edits before anything moves on.
  3. Produce the language versions. Regional voiceover and subtitles from the same approved script, with your agreed glossary applied so plant vocabulary survives the translation.
  4. Send each language through the review gate. Nothing publishes until the subject-matter reviewer for that language has approved it. The gate is part of the workflow rather than an email chain beside it.
  5. Deliver it to the floor. Short video cards on mobile, downloadable for offline viewing, assigned by role, site or shift with deadlines and supervisor escalation.
  6. Reissue when the SOP changes. A revision produces new versions and a targeted refresher for the people the change affects, instead of a full re-run for everybody.

What you need, and what produces it

The requirement is on the left. The capability is only there because of the column on the right.

SOP training requirements mapped to MobiLearn capabilities and benefits
Business requirement MobiLearn capability Operational benefit
The SOP changes often Versioned content with targeted refreshers for the affected roles Only the people the change touches retrain, and the record shows which revision each person learned
The workforce is distributed and often offline Mobile micro-video with offline download and later sync Training reaches sites, routes and shifts without depending on connectivity
A procedure must mean the same thing in every language One approved source, agreed terminology, a subject-matter gate per language A step reads the same on the floor as it does in the document
Reading a procedure is not following it Scenario questions with pass thresholds and targeted reinforcement You find out who has not understood a step before it matters on the line
Auditors ask who was trained on which version Completion and assessment records tied to the content version The answer is an export rather than a search through old email

What each person sees

The operator, the supervisor and the quality team want three different things from the same content.

The operator

  • Short video in the language they think in
  • Watchable between tasks on their own phone
  • Downloaded on wifi, played on site with no signal
  • A quick check they can pass without leaving the floor

The supervisor

  • Who on this shift has completed the current revision
  • Escalation when a deadline passes
  • Topic scores showing which step is not landing
  • Refreshers aimed at their team rather than the whole plant

Quality and operations

  • One source document, many language versions
  • Terminology and review gates before anything publishes
  • Version history against every SOP revision
  • Exports by site, shift and revision

What it looks like in the product

The production view and the rollout view, which is where a revision is either handled or missed.

Illustrative screens with sample data, for approval. They are replaced with live MobiLearn captures before launch.

Customer story

The SOP training story publishes here once it is verified

A named deployment, with the number of procedures, the languages, the workforce covered and how the result was measured, goes here as soon as one is approved for publication.

Until then this space stays empty. If you want evidence before that, ask on the demo and we will walk you through a live account with the customer's permission.

Implementation and integrations

SOP training sits between your document control and your shift structure, so the work is mostly in connecting those two.

Document sources
PDF, DOCX and presentation sources, in the format your quality team already maintains.
Existing content
SCORM packages and existing courses can be carried across rather than rebuilt.
HRMS and single sign-on
Site, shift and role data decides who is assigned which procedure, so a transfer changes the training without a ticket.
Managed production
When a procedure needs a studio shoot, animation or an avatar presenter, that is a service you buy for that course alone.
Migration
Historical training records move across with a test migration, a parallel run and reconciliation against the source system.

What IT and the plant will ask

A procedure is often commercially sensitive, and it is about to sit on several hundred personal phones.

  • Shared cloud, dedicated cloud, your own cloud account, private VPC or on-premise
  • India region data residency where you require it
  • Downloaded content held inside the app rather than in the phone gallery
  • Access by site, shift and role, so a contractor sees only their own procedures
  • Certification status for VAPT, ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2, DPDPA and GDPR published exactly as it stands

SOP training questions buyers ask

Which languages can an SOP be produced in?

The Indian languages your workforce actually uses. Versions are generated from one approved English source rather than written separately, so adding a language is a production step instead of a new project.

Who checks that the translation is right?

Your subject-matter expert for that language. MobiLearn applies the terminology you agree up front, and nothing publishes until that reviewer approves it.

What happens when the SOP is revised?

The revision produces new content versions and a targeted refresher for the roles the change affects. Completion records stay tied to the version each person actually learned.

Does it work on a low-end phone with no signal?

Yes. Lessons are short video cards sized for modest devices. They download on wifi and play offline, and progress syncs when the phone is next online.

Can MobiLearn guarantee that we meet a standard?

No, and no LMS can. MobiLearn gives you completion, assessment and version evidence that supports a compliance case. The compliance judgement stays with your auditor and your regulator.

Do you write the SOPs for us?

No. The procedure is yours and stays yours. We turn the approved document into learning, and instructional design and video production are available as services if you want help with that half.

Bring one SOP to the demo, in English

We turn it into micro-lessons, produce a regional-language version, and show you the review gate and the version history your quality team would work with.
